I'm sure this pool looks very familiar, since I did a post of my kids swimming with their cousins and friends not too long ago, but this time was different. DADDY decided to swim with the kids! After we came home from the balloon launch on July 3rd, Jared said "Hey. Why don't you fill up the pool. I want to swim with the kids!" I headed right out and got it all filled. The kids were so excited that daddy wanted to come out and splash around with them. It was quite entertaining!!
Fun in the sun!! Hayden wanted Daddy to try out the goggles!
... like this one. I told Kaitlyn to hold REALLY still while the boys ran around her. I set the shutter speed super slow so they would blur.
We dared Jared to stick his head under the water and peek through the clear part of the pool. The water was SO COLD!! Kids don't seem to mind as much as adults. It took him a while to get brave enough.

I had a wider lens on, so I wanted to take some pics that looked a little distorted. Hayden was a great subject! He was so funny... when he pushed the front of his hair straight up, he said "Now THAT'S a hair-do!"

Bryson kept shaking the water off, so we decided to get a funny picture of him doing it.
B was super brave. He was the first one to peek through the clear part of the pool in the FREEZING water :)
And just to prove that I do indeed exist, Eryn took a couple of pictures of me :) I'm not sure why we didn't get any of her.
That night, we met my whole family over in Pleasant Grove to watch fireworks. I left the camera at home :( We had a great time snacking, playing on the playground, and watching the fireworks. It was only scary for a minute when some fireworks shot straight into the crowd. The kids were a little shook up, but we reminded them that THAT is why we sit in the back! Hopefully nobody was hurt. The rest of the fireworks were great :)

How dang cool is the pic of Kaitlyn holding still and the boys moving around her, wow you could enter that in some sort of photo contest. Looks like tons of fun at the Stafford house. Your 4th looks awesome too. LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics.
