Easter

I have some really fun memories of my childhood Easters. All of them include coloring eggs. We decided to meet up and my parents' house on Saturday, and get some eggs colored. We missed our "Young" cousins, as they were attending a funeral, but we looked forward to seeing them the next day.

The cousins had lots of fun dipping eggs in dye, swishing eggs around in some shiny, metallic paint stuff that Uncle Brad found, and pretty much making a big old mess.

Hayden wanted to use every single color.

Some of our cute cousins (and Aunt Jo) having a great time

Bryson, Kaitlyn and Eryn... and the eggs "Before!"

We made sure there were plenty of eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide.

Easter Sunday morning was so beautiful. Eryn had to get up early and go with the youth in our ward to help out at the Developmental Center for their church services. She was excited to go. The morning light was so pretty, that of course I had to make her step out onto the porch for some quick pictures.

Once I got the other kiddos ready, we headed outside to take some pics of them all dressed up on Easter, too.

The poor boys... they didn't get new Easter Sunday clothes. Bryson had his new suit that he had just gotten for his baptism, and he was happy as could be about that.

Luckily, Hayden just plain doesn't care. He'd rather be wearing anything BUT Sunday clothes, anyway. ;)

After church, and a really wonderful Easter Sacrament Meeting, we went over to Grama Cheryl and PapaBob's for Easter dinner and an Egg Hunt. We had a super fun time!

I love that Eryn helped cute little cousin Harlie. It made the Egg Hunt fun for a 13-yr-old.

This poor egg... it really was a metallic golden color, but you could hardly tell. Oh well, Kaitlyn was proud to find it ;)

All four of my sweet kids... I love the tallest to shortest line-up. It shows how tall Eryn really has gotten over the last year and a half. She's only about an inch shorter than me, almost wears the same size shoe, and towers over the others. We keep having to remind Kaitlyn that she'll have a growth spurt sometime and catch right up ;)

And then, the bravest thing we did all day: A picture of Grandma and Papa with ALL the grandkids (well, except the one that's on the way). It was pretty comical trying to get everyone looking. As you can see, we ALMOST succeeded.
