Hair

Hair. We all have it. Well actually, I guess not EVERYONE has hair. There are plenty of people out there without much or any, but most of us have atleast a little ;) I have hair issues. I get bored really easily, and I'm always looking for a change. Apparently my 2nd daughter has inherited this "quality" from me. For the longest time, she has been growing her hair out. "I can not WAIT to be able to wear a ponytail or braids!" she would say. "How long to you think it will be by Summer?" she would also say. It was getting long. She had patiently allowed it to get clear past her shoulders. Then suddenly one day as I was braiding it, she said, "I wanna cut my hair." I was a little shocked, but secretly kind of excited! I always think she looks so cute with shorter hair. Everyday for the next week she was asking if I had made a hair appointment for her yet. Everyday I would say, "I haven't had a chance. I'll try to remember tomorrow." But our tomorrows would pass with such busyness, that I would forget again. Finally after school, with a little prod from K, I made the call. She was so excited, even though we had to wait a few days (busy schedule you know!) Friday arrived, and as we did her hair for school, she said, "Finally! I get my hair cut today!" I must say, as cute as it turned out, I have the itch. I've been growing MINE out as well, but it's at an awful stage right now. I am EXTREMELY tempted to cut! Kaitlyn's is SO CUTE! I love it, but best of all SHE loves it! Don't you think it's adorable?
