We really enjoyed watching Kaitlyn play softball this year. She always played her best. She did a great job with catching, throwing, and hitting. Apparently, she had some issues with hitting, when somehow the bat would hit her wrist. She tried all kinds of different ways to hold it, but it would end up sore. She did learn how to bunt, and got pretty good at it, but at her last couple of games we really challenged her to try to hit... and guess what? She hit! She hit it hard and far. It was so awesome! I think she just needed to see that she could do it.
She enjoys softball, but soccer is truly where her heart is, and she told us that she may not play softball next year. We'll see if she still feels that way when next Spring rolls around, but if she wants to stick with soccer, that's okay with us.

ahh, to be a kid in the summer. Looks like you guys are having fun. The softball post makes me think of when we played on the city league team and your mom was the coach. Good times.
She has gotten so big!!! your kids have such a great gift for ne thing they put their minds too! They must have gotten that from their AWESOME parents!
